It was all the way to the semi-finals again this weekend for James on the PDC ProTour Players Championship Nine at Wigan’s Robin Park Tennis Centre.

Once again #TeamWade had reason to celebrate as James led his fans to the semi-finals with some impressive wins along the way:

As the stage was set for the semi-final’s it was time for two of the worlds best players to come face to face as James and Michael van Gerwen stepped up to the oche.

After a close run battle in the early stages of the game, Michael tipped the lead to the final with a 6-4 win.

This Easter Weekend saw the winning pattern for James continue once again as the second round of the European Tour began in Munich.

James’s first match on Saturday evening saw a 6-2 win against Madars Razma and a 6-4 win against Jelle Klaasen on Easter Sunday.

Monday’s impressive third-round 6-1 game against Michael Smith led James to the evening’s quarter-finals where he went on to beat Max Hopp 6-3.

The competition continued into the evening, where once again it was Wade v’s Wright in the semi-finals which saw Peter secure his place in the final in the best of 13 legs match 7-3.
