James Wade claimed three victories on the opening night of the UK Open in Bolton to progress through to the third round of the tournament.
The 30-year-old, a two-time champion, dropped just two legs in his charge to the last 64.
Wade overcame the challenge of former World Masters runner-up Robbie Green in the preliminary round.
‘The Machine’ saw off the Green by five legs to two to set up a first round tie against Matt Gallett, who he whitewashed 5-0.
He then completed his run to round three with another whitewash, this time taking five straight legs against Wolverhampton’s Wayne Jones.
Wade will face Jamie Caven in round three.
