In this first group game James made light work of Michel van der Horst  winning 5-2. In his second game James produced one of the performances of the Grand Slam so far. James beat Mark Webster 5-2 with a stunning 105.83 average, finishing the match with an eleven dart leg. James finished last night playing Keegan Brown and again topped the 100 average. James sent the youngster home winning 5-2 averaging 103.68. The Machine’s finishing was back to his brilliant best, hitting 5 from 11 giving 45% checkout stats.


It’s a day of rest of James on Tuesday. The 8 times major winning will be back in action on Wednesday night where he will play Raymond Van Barneveld for a place in the quarterfinals.
