The PDC’s second most successful player James Wade has agreed a new three-year-deal with leading darts manufacturers Unicorn.
The announcement follows Wade’s recent runs to the semi-finals of the World Championship, Premier League and World Matchplay.
And the seven-time major title winner hopes that the extension of his fruitful partnership with the big name in darts will help him continue his success.
“I’m delighted to have signed with Unicorn for another three years,” said the 30-year-old left-hander.
“It is an important show of loyalty on both sides. It proves that they have faith in me and I that have confidence in them.
“Agreeing a new deal enables me to focus on producing consistent performances and winning some more titles. I also want to take this opportunity to thank all at Unicorn for their continued support.”
Wade has already won the World Matchplay, Premier League, World Grand Prix (twice), UK Open (twice) and Championship League.
‘The Machine’ now has further success in his sights and re-signing with Unicorn will provide a solid foundation for his glory charge.
He added: “I have enjoyed fantastic success with Unicorn and I intend it to continue. This is a big boost for me and hopefully for Unicorn. I will do everything I can to repay their faith.”
