James Wade is joining forces with tyre manufacturing giants KENDA after the prestigious company agreed a sponsorship deal with ‘The Machine’.
Founded in 1962, Kenda is one of the world’s leading tyre and tube manufacture for automotive, motorcycle, ATV, bicycle, lawn care equipment, trailer, and agricultural vehicles. With factories all over the world, the company is able to provide quality products to suit a wide variety of applications.
Wade, a car mechanic by trade and currently ranked in the top six in the world, was seen proudly sporting the KENDA logo on his shirt during his run to the semi-finals of the World Grand Prix in Dublin, which was broadcast live on SKY Sports and on various platforms worldwide.
Wade has amassed an impressive seven major titles in the Professional Darts Corporation and is hoping to continue his success with this winning partnership.
“I’m over the moon to be associated with KENDA Tyres,” said the 30-year-old left-hander. “I’m really proud to wear their name and I hope I can do them proud. It is a business with a winning track record and for them to have faith in me is massive. I aim to repay the confidence and support they have shown in me by pushing on and finding my best form, which will result in getting back to winning tournaments.”
Wade has already won the World Matchplay, Premier League, World Grand Prix (twice), UK Open (twice) and Championship League.

The Aldershot ace has shown some typically strong form in televised tournaments so far this year, reaching the semi-finals in all four of the biggest major events.
And with four top TV tournaments still to come – The Masters, Grand Slam, Players Championship and World Championship – it may not be long before Wade and KENDA are experiencing their first taste of glory together.
