James Wade made it a hat-trick of victories to qualify for the last 16 of the Grand Slam of Darts as a group winner.
‘The Machine’, who had already beaten Peter Wright and Gary Anderson, defeated Wesley Harms on Tuesday to top Group B in Wolverhampton.Wade saw off Harms 5-2 with a thoroughly professional performance, having qualified prior to his final round robin match against the Dutchman.
The left-hander averaged 97 and enjoyed a highest finish of 127 as he maintained his perfect record.
Wade will face Paul Nicholson in the second round on Thursday.
