James Wade  will have the backing of Bet Victor when he arrows in to Alexandra Palace for the 2014 World Championship on Thursday evening.

‘The Machine’  will be sporting the Bet Victor logo on his shirt throughout the biggest tournament in the sport after entering a new sponsorship deal.

He represents excellent value at 33/1 (pre-tournament) joint fourth favourite for the title at betvictor.com and is in confident mood ahead of his first round match tonight.

Wade, the PDC’s second most successful player with seven majors to his name, is hoping that this is his time to bag that elusive World Championship title.

The Aldershot ace, who has reached the semi-finals three times, faces Darren Webster in his opener and has his eyes firmly set on the big prize.

He said: “I’m feeling positive about the worlds. My mind is in the right place, my personal life is in the right place and my darts are feeling much better.
