James Wade missed out on a place in the Grand Slam of Darts quarter-finals after narrowly losing an exciting clash with Stephen Bunting on Thursday in Wolverhampton.

Four ton-plus finishes, including a 170 and a 164, were not enough for Wade to stop the reigning Lakeside Champion claiming a 10-8 victory in their last 16 tie. more

James Wade progressed to the knockout stages of the Grand Slam of Darts after an excellent victory over Tony O’Shea on Tuesday evening.

Wade averaged just shy of 100 in a 5-1 defeat of three-time Lakeside World Championship finalist O’Shea in their decisive Group G match in Wolverhampton. more

Wade produced a sensational comeback from being 9-2 down against King in a dramatic final to clinch his eighth major PDC title – a triumph which he sealed with a fabulous 135 finish. more
