James Wade has revealed his pride at becoming a patron of Bipolar UK.

The eight time PDC major winner, who was diagnosed with Bipolar four years ago, has supported the charity in the past and described his new role as ‘an honour’.

He said: “I feel privileged to have been asked to become a patron for Bipolar UK.

“I am committed to increasing awareness of the illness. I believe that with help and support people with bipolar can lead a full and active life like myself and achieve any goal that you set your mind to.”
