James was first on last night in the Betway Premier League and got the show off to a great start but could only pick up a point against Adrian Lewis with the pair tied at 6-6, James took the first leg with some power scoring of his own hitting 140, 174, 137 to leave 50 after 9 darts taking the leg in 12 darts, Jackpot responded with back to back legs. James then steamed into a 4-2 but Lewis again replied with a brilliant 138 finish and we were all square again the pair then traded the next 4 legs on their own throw to finish 6-6, both had over 100 averages  the point keeps James just outside the top 4.

James lost his unbeaten recored in this years Betway Premier League losing 7-4 to world Champion Gary Anderson, James lead 3-2 but some power scoring from Anderson got him back into the game.

James will look back a few missed double but the Machine will be back strong next week as he plays Phil Taylor in Exeter, Once again James would like to thank you all for the support #TeamWade

James Wade and Stephen Bunting draw 6-6 on the opening night of the Betway Premier League, the match swung one way then the other with both players braking throw early on, James then broke to lead 6-4 but Stephen broke back as the two players had to settle for a point each.

James finshed with an average of 95.56 with a high finish of 101 and a check out percentage of 46.15.

Next week the Premier League moves on to Bournemouth next Thursday where james will play  Kim Huybrechts in the 4th game of the night.

Thursday night The Dorchester was the host for the annual PDC awards dinner, the PDC top stars were all in attendance hoping to be winning one of the awards for their hard work through the year.

James Wade was honoured to pick up the award for PDC televised performance of the year at the annual PDC awards dinner.

The award was for his remarkable comeback from 9-2 down against Mervyn King, to take the Unibet masters title with a stunning 11-10 win to lift his eighth PDC major title.

The Machine will start his defence of the Unibet masters title on the 31st January live on ITV4 against the man he beat to win the title last time out. James will be hoping to get 2015 off to a winning start before the start of the Premier League.

James Wade missed out on a place in the Grand Slam of Darts quarter-finals after narrowly losing an exciting clash with Stephen Bunting on Thursday in Wolverhampton.

Four ton-plus finishes, including a 170 and a 164, were not enough for Wade to stop the reigning Lakeside Champion claiming a 10-8 victory in their last 16 tie. more

James Wade progressed to the knockout stages of the Grand Slam of Darts after an excellent victory over Tony O’Shea on Tuesday evening.

Wade averaged just shy of 100 in a 5-1 defeat of three-time Lakeside World Championship finalist O’Shea in their decisive Group G match in Wolverhampton. more

James Wade’s trademark finishing earned him a place in the last eight of the Bet Victor World Matchplay as he coasted past Richie Burnett on Tuesday.

Wade, the fifth seed for the title, triumphed 13-2 at the Winter Gardens thanks to an incredible collection of mid-range checkouts.

And the former champion set his sights on clinching the top prize once again. more

DARTSJAMES WADE 10 – 5 Andy Smith

James Wade sealed his place in round two of the Bet Victor World Matchplay by defeating Andy Smith in Blackpool.

The former champion coasted into a 6-1 lead before eventually triumphing 10-5 at the Winter Gardens on Saturday.

The world number six will take on Brendan Dolan or Richie Burnett in the last 16. more

James Wade claimed victory in the Gibraltar Darts Trophy as he defeated Steve Beaton in Sunday’s final, ending a three-year wait for a title.

Wade, who has won seven PDC majors, earned his first tournament victory since 2011 with a 6-4 success in the decider. more

James Wade  will have the backing of Bet Victor when he arrows in to Alexandra Palace for the 2014 World Championship on Thursday evening.
